Abel Godard's mother was Mary Ann Rich. She was the daughter of Salmon Rich (one of the first Richville settlers) &, born on May 16, 1804. She was the first female child born in DeKalb and was the wife of Harlow Godard.
Harlow Godard's father and older Brother were in the War of 1812. Here
