      Wounded in the Battle of Cold Harbor, June 3, 1864 very badly in the left arm. Sent to the hospital in

      Washington and did not return to his regiment. Discharged Nov. 19, 1864, farmer lives in Hopkinton

      {recorded in Azro Beecher's Diary, Ashford Roberts died Sept. 4, 1913}

    Charles J. Worthing died at his home on Park street Thursday afternoon, at the age of 65 years. He

        suffered a paralytic shock last October and had since been an invalid. He was a charter member of

        Luther Priest post No 167, G.A.R., having served three years in the Civil war. Mr. Worthing is survived

        by a widow and three children, William of Clarksburg, W. Va., and Frederick and Harry of this place.

        The funeral was held from his late residence Sunday afternoon. The G.A.R. post attended in a body. The

        Rev. G. H. Williams officiated. Interment was made at Riverside cemetery.OST 167, GAR) - 1842-1907
